Hello everyone,
we want to tell you something about the football match on 12/14/2021, where VFL Wolfsburg played against 1. FC Köln.
Two weeks before the football match, we had the opportunity to say whether we wanted to join the match live in the Wolfsburg arena or not. Of course, it was voluntary since it is outside of school hours.
On the day of the football match, we got our tickets. We have been invited to the stadium through the cooperation with VFL Wolfsburg. Therefore, we did not have to pay anything. In the evening, we met in small groups at the stadium. After everyone was there, we went to the security check and got inside. Also, at the entrance we received a ticket for a free drink. When we finally found our seats and the rest of our class, the football match was about to start.
The football match started very well, because Lukas Nmecha from VfL Wolfsburg scored a great goal, but shortly after this goal, 1. FC Köln had also scored a goal. After the first half of the game was over, we had time to get something to drink and to eat. We bought Brezeln, Currywurst and also some hot chocolate because it was very cold. After the break, we went back to our seats and the second part begun. Wolfsburg had scored another goal, but in the end, it was not enough, and 1. FC Köln won the match.
It was a pity, but the evening was still a lot of fun. Unfortunately, only 5.000 people were allowed into the stadium due to Covid. The atmosphere would of course have been better if it was completely sold out. However, it was great to be in the stadium instead of watching the game on TV. Overall, it was a great and awesome experience.
